Tesla has been developing the capability to attack critical infrastructure, whether by design or accident. Here’s a perfect example, when a suddenly veered car explodes into fire and completely shuts down a major highway.

The A1(M) is closed in both directions this morning (September 22) after a Tesla collided with the central reservation and caught fire.

The incident occurred at around 7.30am, when the vehicle hit the barrier at Junction 4 for Welwyn Garden City and burst into flames.
