A tech blog presents three sacred cows to be killed as pragmatic business advice, anchored in a single narrative: Europe belongs to white men and outsiders caused the decline. The “solution” it presents just repeats old European racist propaganda with a post-2010 venture capitalist mindset: ethnic homogeneity + deregulation + growth fetishism.
The short piece doesn’t argue why “outsiders” caused decline. Of course not, because historically outsiders are the engine of innovation and growth. Insiders stagnate, conserve and hoard, as the author’s background demonstrates. Instead he asserts a lie without any evidence (“no single issue has cost Europe more”) and immediately pivots to a policy demand.
The blank-slatism strawman is there to preempt the overwhelming counter-evidence, which crushes his post instantly. The climate section is only there presumably because climate policy and immigration restriction now float in the same platforms of hate in current European discourse.
Here is the decoder triad for the obvious signs of racism in his post:
- “Culturally incompatible” is the standard white nationalist euphemism for racial hierarchy. The argument that integration has “failed” relies on the unstated assumptions about anyone’s compatibility being based on origin. A man who built his career on open web standards should grasp that interoperability across origins is the innovation. Ethernet won because it accepted everything on the wire. Token Ring demanded conformity and died. His compatibility test makes him the Token Ring man of 2026.
- “Remigration” is a euphemism for a crime. The crime is forced deportation. Burglars call it entering, which is forced. Rapists call it sex, which is forced. Perpetrators avoid the word force because the word exposes their crime. Write remigration and you may have enabled a criminal via their vocabulary. Burglary and rape are words that carry their full criminal weight. Remigration should carry the same, and never casually show up in a tech blog. The escalation from “stop immigration” to “millions who are already in Europe must go” because sacred cows “must die” is the actual policy proposal dressed in technocratic language to obfuscate forceful, militant racism. Martin Sellner presented a remigration plan at the November 2023 Potsdam meeting, which triggered the largest civil society protest movement in postwar German history. And yet this guy writes the crime of remigration into his blog as if he’s clean. Deportation of a population is a crime against humanity under Article 7 of the Rome Statute.
- The invocation of “roots, ancestry, ingenuity” and “healthy national feelings” toward “grand revival” is ethno-nationalist framing. The racist dog whistle is loud. Just slap on a swastika and a Hitler salute already.
He presents himself as a regular guy. He is NOT. The prose reveals his racist, elitist, completely out of touch view towards the people and history that made him rich. Networks, trade, and movement of people have consistently been the vectors of economic dynamism. The stagnation that he fears is the closed loop he is creating for himself. That’s a man who makes a living crossing borders while yelling to close the borders on others he doesn’t like. His own career was built on shipping code everywhere, convincing people to convert to his strange language, and yet here he is trying to tell us that nobody should ever have trusted him let alone his language.
He shipped culture globally. His wealth and influence are the direct product of open networks he now wants to slam a door on so others won’t benefit like he did.
And look closely at his exact language. He uses the vocabulary of Martin Sellner’s Identitarian movement, laundered through Orbán’s Budapest, Støjberg’s Denmark, and the AfD’s Potsdam. The word specificity matters. Instead of “Europeans” or “democracies” he says “ancestries”. That’s coded. That’s bloodline. That’s a Nazi.
The German Verwaltungsgericht Meiningen ruled in 2019 that calling AfD’s Höcke a fascist is grounded in fact, and the BfV in May 2025 classified the AfD as gesichert rechtsextremistisch.
One can only guess why Token Ring man of 2026 wants to use his blog to self-identify as a Nazi.
