Just days after an almost identical deadly crash in Germany, another Tesla has suddenly veered into a tree and burned the occupants to death.
An overtaking maneuver resulted in the deaths of a man and his two children. Their car crashed into a tree, burning them to death. The traffic accident occurred in Schwerte (North Rhine-Westphalia) on Sunday afternoon around 2:05 p.m. “The driver of the electric vehicle was attempting to overtake a convoy of cars and, for reasons that are still unclear, left the road. The car then veered into a ditch and came to a stop against a tree,” Bernd Pentrop (54), police spokesperson for the Unna District Police Department, explained to BILD. When the car caught fire, the three occupants were trapped and could not be rescued. According to WDR, the car was a Tesla.
