Police are investigating.
The California Highway Patrol said it found a 2024 Tesla Model Y crashed into a tree and fully engulfed in flames. Officers said a passenger was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver and another passenger were found dead inside the vehicle after the flames were put out, the CHP said.
Very sad news: update on one of the identified women who died in the fiery crash. Am guessing the Tesla unexpectedly sped up and veered across the road, crashing into a tree. 3 of the 4 passengers died, the 4th was rescued by good Samaritans with major injuries just like the Piedmont Cybertruck crash in Nov 2024 in Piedmont, CA. Tesla ALWAYS blames the driver.
