Science: Cockroach Milk Called Theoretically Superior

The reporting on cockroach theoretical milk makes perfect sense:

Cockroach milk is among the most nutritious substances on Earth. It’s three times richer in calories than buffalo milk (the previous top contender for the most protein- and calorie-rich milk).

…it tasted like pretty much nothing. You could, in theory, splash it into coffee or pour it over cornflakes.

…we have no evidence that it is actually safe for human consumption.

Without any evidence it is safe, imagine putting it into theoretical coffee. It’s really food for thought.

Virginia Woman Sues Tesla: “Insane” Mode Claimed as Negligence

She apparently didn’t want the insanity the Tesla dealer was selling.

Central to her claim is the allegation that the Model Y had been left in Insane mode before the test drive. […]

Rather than claiming that the Model Y mechanically malfunctioned, Lawgalet argues that Tesla employees created an unsafe situation by giving her the vehicle without adequate instruction or warning. The lawsuit alleges their handling of the test drive amounted to negligence.

Negligence generally means failing to use the level of care a reasonable person or business would use under similar circumstances. Businesses can face negligence claims when their own actions, or those of their employees, allegedly create a foreseeable risk of injury.

Of course Tesla claims the fault for their insanity is completely on the person exposed to it.

CA Tesla Kills One in Rear-end Crash Into Tractor

Police say they are investigating.

The driver of a Tesla sedan died in a fiery collision with a tractor in Elk Grove early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The crash happened at about 5:38 a.m. on eastbound Kammerer Road in southern Elk Grove. The California Highway Patrol said the grey four-door sedan hit the back of the tractor, which was hauling grapes on Kammerer Road just east of Lent Road in southern Elk Grove.

This is almost identical to the first Tesla driverless fatal crash in 2016, so basically nothing has improved.

Multiple pedestrians were struck by a car, one fatally, in a parking lot Thursday afternoon in the Fairfax District, authorities said.

The collision occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the Gilmore Station shopping center, near the intersection of Third Street and Fairfax Avenue. It appears the driver of a Tesla plowed into the security stand located in front of the parking lot shared by a Trader Joe’s grocery store, Mendocino Farms and Sidecar Doughnuts.
