Vehicular Assault Charges Filed for Tesla Driven by Drunk Deputy Attorney General

It’s unclear whether the drunk driver was doing any steering or letting the Tesla AI do the crashing.

The Tesla driver was charged with first- and second-degree vehicular assault and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Naylor, who lives in the Stanton area, was driving his Tesla quickly through the school’s parking lot, located at 555 Hyetts Corner Road north of Middletown, court records state.

Minutes before classes were to be dismissed, records said he crashed into three cars, injuring two people.
