It makes sense that music fans are trying to recapture the energy of the 8-bit sound revolution. Music of this genre played second fiddle to the video revolution, but now it is center stage. Here are a couple examples of hot new tracks:

I just noticed that Blackwater aims to reinvent image with name change according to the The Rocky Mountain News:
Blackwater Worldwide is abandoning its tarnished brand name as it tries to shake a reputation battered by oft-criticized work in Iraq, renaming its family of two dozen businesses under the name Xe.
So many puns come to mind…
