VA Tesla Kills Two in “Veered” Crash Into Tree

Early morning fatal loss of control into a tree is a recurring Tesla theme.

Two people were killed and two others were injured after a speeding Tesla crashed into a tree and caught fire, igniting a nearby home in Petersburg early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

Colonial Heights Police said an officer clocked the Tesla at speeds over 70 mph in a 30 mph zone on the Boulevard around 1:20 a.m.

A witness perhaps put it best.

So I came out of my house and saw… the car was lodged in between the tree and my house. And then a few minutes later, the car burst into flames. And it was a Tesla, so it’s extra dangerous.

Extra dangerous. She’s seen a lot of crashes, apparently, and knows the difference.

  1. Exactly what happened to the Tesla Cybertruck in the Piedmont Cybertruck crash that took place nearly a year ago the day before Thanksgiving 2024:

“…the car was lodged in between the tree and my house. And then a few minutes later, the car burst into flames. And it was a Tesla, so it’s extra dangerous.”

Actually the Piedmont cybertruck burst into flames upon impact, and the crash took place after having traveled just one mile, mostly winding narrow downhill street in a hilly residential neighborhood.

Only one passenger, Jordan Miller, could be pulled from the burning, leaving one screaming passenger (two others were not conscious) trapped due to the 3,000 F degree fire from the lithium batteries.

Anyone reading please demand a new investigation into the Piedmont Cybertruck crash.
